If I deleted a file on an SSD with trim enabled, is there a decent chance to recover the file? I'm only asking to see what my chances are and if I should pursue a data recovery company or not.

No, it is not "always" worth trying a free recovery software demo before seeking professional. There are times when that might be true, but certainly not with failing drives or cases where TRIM is of concern. It is better to power the drive off, as the longer it is powered on, the more the background processes for TRIM will erase and/or the physical damage will get worse.

As for programs you recommeneded, Recuva is a very basic undelete program which almost always fails to get the results the user is hoping for and EaseUS is just utter garbage to be avoided.
