Re: Launching New - BLR Data Recovery Tool 2024* Version 17.0.0

Post by lcoughey »

I'm allowing this post to go through because the OP is using an email from the company domain. That said, I've never heard of this software and would urge extreme caution to anyone who wants to try it out. As the pricing is similar to that of R-Studio and UFS Explorer, I'd recommend sticking with programs that are trusted within the data recovery industry.

Looks like a clone of Easeus, just more expensive.
I find stuff like this in BLR installation folders and many more references to Easeus.

I ran into an account pushing this software on the subreddit a few weeks ago. I thought it looked like a scam, and obvious rip off of EaseUs, so I reached out to their support. Turns out this company is an official partner of EaseUs with the rights to rebrand and resell.

Like you guys, I also reverse image searched their "staff", lol! That shows the amount integrity EaseUs has for themselves and their business partners...

Why would one pay more for the rebranded version? Why would anyone spend that much money on the origianl version?

EaseUS
Data Recovery Wizard - Recover up to 2GB - Free
Data Recovery Pro - Lifetime upgrade - $149.95
Data Recovery Technician - Premium Lifetime - $799

BLR
Data Recovery Pro Premium - Lifetime upgade - $249
Data Recovery Technician - Lifetime upgrade - $799

I just noticed the funny names.
  • Mustafa Leek (must have a leak)
    Emma Grate (emigrate ?)
Annie Versaree (anniversary, Annie with a beard?)
    Mary Krismass (merry christmas)
This has to be the funniest marketing fail I have ever seen.
