Connor CP342 IDE 3.5" 40MB Hard Drive

Post by CrazyTeeka »

I've seen a "Connor CP342 IDE 3.5" 40MB Hard Drive" for sale on eBay. Listing says "Can hear it spinning, but no success reading". I wonder if a hardware imager like the PC-3000 or RapidSpar could even read it?

I wonder if the seller realises that this drive doesn't do LBA mode, but is restricted to CHS mode?

They know now. That could be why they are getting errors when trying to read drive.

I'd be curious to know the demand for such an old drive that cannot even be confirmed to work by the seller.
