I wonder how many of these timeout related problems could be recovered with HDDSuperClone by adjusting the Timer Settings?

Maybe, along with hardware resets and the occasional repower of the drive works when it goes unresponsive.

I assume you mean the 88SS1074 BSW2 controller, which is supported by PC3000. Assuming that the key firmware modules are not completely destroyed on the NAND, and the lab working on it has an updated version of PC3000, it should be doable.

Yea 88ss1074 bsw! I checked the board with multimeter. Mostly every component was between 3,1-3.3 V. Some components tho had 0,7-1.3V. I cant really find good info about these components, or what values should them have? Maybe voltage error makes the drive inaccesible by dead components. Ive posted picture. Im total noob in electronics, maybe someone with expertise could tell me.

Solution: Failing NAND, able to clone with DDI with lots of bad blocks, but most are readable with multiple long timeout passes.

I've certainly had some success with SSDs that seem to be firmware related, yet unresponsive with LDRs in PC3K and are fully recovered with a little heat.

Indeed Luke I will try with the temperature range suggested by Roman and that I also saw in a scientific article on NAND

Can you show me a detailed photo of the chips near the m.2 connector? There are 4 inductors which will be the landmarks for 4 power supplies. There is also a 6-pin MOSFET which switches power to the whole drive.

Luke, for cloning, did you only use DDI 4 or some add-on for SSDs?
