In recent months, R-Studio has made huge grounds in improving their features and functionality, already adding several features I've been asking for for quiet some time.
- multipass runtime imaging
- customizable HTML file reports showing good and damaged files based on imaging sector map
- imaging to vhdk file
- open vhdx file
- XFS support
- ability to open multiple runtime images so that a virtual RAID can be setup and recovered within a single instance of the program
However, there is always room for improvement. Here is a running list of features that would be nice:
- ability to have multiple runtime images running and imaging targeted files at the same time within a single instance of R-Studio (this would be separate drive recoveries not tied to a RAID)
- ability to create a runtime image of a reconstructed RAID
- bitlocker support without the need to mount to the OS
