After a recent update, I ran into issues where I could no longer see the destination drive when creating a task in DE. I could see the drives listed in the source window, but would only get various imaging options for the destination. This was an issue i encountered many years ago with MRT and it took me a bit to remember exactly what the issue was.
Basically, it came down to Trend Micro blocking MRT from drive access. There were two ways to fix this, move the program files to the same path that they used to be in or add the new path to the safe list in Trend Micro. I went with the latter and all is good.
