We were able to read this card using our Spider Board with our PC3000-Flash recovery system. Sadly, getting the dump of the internal NAND is the easy part.

Ball park figure, what does the PC3000 Flash cost and what are annual costs? So I have something I compare with Flash Extractor. If you had none of them, which would you buy with your current knowledge?

I believe that PC3K Flash is around $2400 USD with annual updates for around $700. But, I could be off by a few hundred dollars. Basically, the up front fee is more than Flash Extractor, but the annual updates is much cheaper.

Re: 128GB SanDisk Monolithic SD Card
I have all three of these products and here is my take on them all.
PC3K Flash:
Pros - It has an easily to understand UI and takes you through a recovery step by step.
Cons - If ECC and XOR is not in the database, then a chip is quite often unrecoverable. New chips not in the database cannot be set up easily.
VNR:
Pros - Can set up new chips, develop and extract ECC and XOR.
Cons - Can be confusing to use, you NEED a training class to understand it.
FE:
Pros - Extensive daatbases for ECC and XOR.
Cons - Poor UI, very slow support.
Hope this helps Joep.

If your goal is to just get the NAND dumps to play with, buying the Flash Extractor NAND Reader is pretty cheap and doesn't require a full license to get the dumps. But, in order to run the app to piece them together and recover the data, you'll need the license.
