TelsaCrypt Ransomeware Removal

Post by lcoughey »

QuickHeal, in India, has produced a free way to decrypt files that were encrypted with TelsaCrypt ransomeware.

Another TelsaCrypt 2.0 removal solution can be found here

hi. i have been infected with teslacrypt and files encrypted by it have .locky extension. i have removed it from many computers but files are useless.
i read somewhere that this RW encrypt the files and delete the original files. so i have tried to scan my infected hard disk with various data recovery SW. like stellar pheonix data recovery, R-Studio, idata recovery etc.etc. but i cant find the deleted files in original state. can u help me ? give me some hint how do i recover those files ?
does .locky mean teslacrypt v3.0 or above? coz quickheal gys said .vvv files are created by teslacrypt 2.0.
does v2.0 solution works on this one ??
