No NO NO!!! You've got it all wrong. You just need to put it in the freezer overnight. The shrinking of the metal will make the heads go right back into perfect alignment and you can then recover all your data. :D

Exactly what I was thinking. Why would you change heads first, then try replacing the PCB? Seems to be the opposite order of events.
