By trying to reproduce the test done in original post which tested SR 6.0, I wanted to test SR 6.1 the same way, so I used HDDScan in-place of MHDD (because I still cannot get MHDD to see any drives), even thought the number of slow sectors is less for this drive, the drive isn't quite as healthy as...

Doing a similar test to the one in Post #1, SpinRite 6.1 reports the drive is 100% healthy, but is it?
HDD Scan says something different...

Got myself a portable tech station (with wheels) to use the RapidSpar on.
Just makes the whole setup look more professional.

I wonder how good Steve's ram tester will be compared to passmark's ram tester?

Well that Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 120GB works with the new donor PCB fitted. But SR doesn't get very far. LOL.
I could try drive on the RapidSpar to see if it does much better. Probably will clone whole drive with great ease.
