 I wish. What do you think I'm running here, a data centre? I don't need much more than a hand calculator for the amount of DR I do.

lcoughey wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 1:51 pm It sure would be nice to be able to pause the scan and see partial results, with the ability to resume afterwards. This is one feature of R-Studio that is extremely helpful, particularly when assessing the situation.
ReclaiMe does that, too, although I normally prefer Recovery Explorer.

Re: DFL update to V1.810 released

I tried the temperature adjust function on a couple of drives without success a couple of days ago, but will try again. One drive had firmware issues so the feature didn't work. The other drive was so unstable that I bricked it by adjusting the temperature. I'll try to resurrect it and try again, or...

Re: DFL update to V1.810 released

...I had to raise my rates just to make sure my clients didn't mistake me for one of those discount labs in Ottawa. :D  In all seriousness, your rates are perfectly fine for a one man show. Though, you are probably underselling yourself, giving your clients more than what they are really payin...

Re: DFL update to V1.810 released

It wasn't directed at anyone in particular. Just a blanket statement. Though, when I look at your prices... The low end of my price ranges are reserved for grandmas who lost pictures of the grandkids and students who are generally broke but don't know enough to back up their thesis or their h...

Re: DFL update to V1.810 released

If you cannot afford $200USD for 3 years of updates, you might want to reconsider offering data recovery as a service. Absolutely. I think it's a real bargain, especially as in addition to continuous program updates, it also entitles you to free remote support from DFL on occasion, and participatio...

Just to clarify, the free updates that come with the product are good for 3 years. After that, renewal costs $200 USD for another three years. I was lucky because my SRP All-in-One purchase was not yet 3 years ago.
