Cause: ROM is blank, completely filled with 0xFFFF
Yikes! How does that happen? Has the ROM been unsoldered/resoldered?

At least the Enterprise/Technician's price is more attractive than R-Studio's ($399 vs $899). Not much good if it doesn't do what you need it to do, but probably "good enough" for many small shops.

1) He only opens hard drives in the dark because he doesn't want to expose the platters to light. :?
2) His shop IS a dust free environment. :shock:
LOL! Some of those drives are blood-suckers, and mysteriously die when exposed to light.
