I've notified the developer of the issue with the Ubuntu interface. After installing and switching to gnome, the gui now works great.

HDD Superclone GUI

It seems as though the Ubuntu GUI design which moves the in-app menu to the top bar to mimic a mac doesn't work with HDD SuperClone, leaving me without any menu.

Okay...it is probably more a case of the recovery software not being able to work around the file fragmentation of the larger files. If the drive was HFS+ formatted on a Mac, the best program for the recovery is Data Rescue in Mac OS. You may also want to try R-Studio , either in Windows or Mac OS.....

Cause: ROM is blank, completely filled with 0xFFFF Yikes! How does that happen? Has the ROM been unsoldered/resoldered? Not sure how it happened. ROM was not previously removed and the user is your vintage, without any tech knowledge. I'm wondering if they somehow tried to flash the ROM via the DLi...
