Re: 100 % data recovery application

To be honest, this post is so poorly worded, it is very suspect of being a lead to further spam. That said, I'll take it on faith that it is a legit question which is very difficult to understand what you are trying to say or ask. My suggestion is to follow these steps: 1. get a full sector-by-secto...

Just curious

I know that there are a lot of labs who charge the same rate for a drive with stuck heads as a drive that needs a head change and am curious if that is the norm. For us, we charge our minor recovery rate (https://www.recoveryforce.com/pricing) unless we actually do need to change the heads. Also, wh...

Re: Hi everyone...looking to learn from the masters!

Not all cases take months...just the tough ones, which are more common than one would like. When you read the NAND chip, you need to check and fix every sector with ECC. But, most flash devices are made with cheap NAND, which means that you get bad reads a lot. So, you need to read and reread sector...

PC3K-Flash - easiest to learn, tech support is great 2. Soft Center - gets great results, complicated to use, but support and updates is very ex...

Re: Disk Drill vs Competition

You do have a point there Larry...especially with programs like DataRescue5 moving to a subscription based license that locks the program when the license expires.

Disk Drill vs Competition

Clever Files has a chart showing a side-by-side comparison with a few other data recovery programs at the following link: https://www.cleverfiles.com/help/disk-drill-versus-competition.html In my quick look at the chart at the bottom of the page, I see some incorrect details. First off, although man...

12TB BarraCuda Pro, IronWolf and IronWolf Pro

Just when you think they can't get any bigger, Seagate announces 12TB hard drives. Time to rethink not charging extra for larger capacity hard drives.
